World of Good Foundation

Role: Web Developer / Solution Integrator

• Theme: custom theme (built on Bootstrap)

This project is a full‑featured website for the charitable foundation "World of Good" (Mir Dobra), developed on WordPress with a custom theme built on Bootstrap.

The site is designed in a light, clean, and trustworthy style using signature green colors, which is a perfect fit for the social sector.

Key Features and Functionality:

Design & Structure: Using the Bootstrap grid made it possible to create a responsive and neat layout in a short time. The sections are logically structured: "Home," "About Us," "News," "Who to Help," "Reports," and "Contacts."

Fundraising (Campaigns): In the "Who Can Be Helped" section, cards are displayed featuring photos of those in need, their stories, diagnoses, and target amounts. Progress bars visually show how much has been raised and how much is still needed.

Donation System: This is the core functionality of the site. A modal window has been implemented where users can choose their preferred payment type:

• One‑time help (single payment)
• Monthly subscription (recurring donations)

Automated Fundraising Closure: Understanding the specifics of charity work, a mechanism for automatically closing a campaign was implemented. As soon as the target amount reaches 100%, the active "Donate" button is disabled, and the campaign switches to a closed status.

News & Programs: A full‑fledged blog/news feed with a sidebar (search and categories) has been implemented. There is also a separate "Programs" section (e.g., transportation assistance, foundation support).

Contact Forms & Document Workflow:

The "Contacts" page features a convenient contact form.

An application form for assistance has been implemented, with the option to attach bank details and download legal documents (Application for Targeted Assistance, Consent to Personal Data Processing).

Interactivity: The homepage features a video presentation of the foundation, while internal pages include view counters and likes, creating a sense of audience engagement.

Result:

The site has become not just a showcase, but a full‑fledged tool with a well‑thought‑out user journey: from reading a person's story to making a secure and convenient payment.
